Favourite picture

My favourite picture of my self is quite a few years old it's been approximately 8 years since it's taken.

The picture was one of a number of picture I got from when my sister won a free photo shoot in London. We went to the place the photo shoot was being held and we where given a nice warm welcome they even offered us a drink while we wait for our turn with hair and make up.

We then whent into hair and make they let us choose they type of style we wanted I choose to go for a smokey eye make up with curly hair as at the time I usually only used natural make up and would straighten my hair from time to time. The lady whom was doing our make up was really friendly and so talented.

After our make up was done we where introduced to our photographer for the day we then changed into our first of four outfits we had brought for the photo shoot she then choose the best set for the type of clothes we were wearing, for what I was wearing on the picture she choose a set with gold and cream curtain back ground to compliment what I was wearing.

There where quite a few sets we used including a garden where I had another picture, a club seen with microphone which me and april both had a picture taken plus there was a bed room seen with a pole which april had to have a picture taken in.

The photographer was so professional I love everyone of the pictures she took of me but I only had a couple of pictures free for the competition and didn't have the money then to buy all of them I saw a broke student. Plus she was so funny I remember me and april spending most of our time at the photoshoot laughing our head off because of something the photographer had said.

The photo shoot was such a great day I look back on it with such fondness as I was the beginning of me becoming body positive as it was the first time I truest felt beautiful and I looked amazing in the pictures, It is also one of the few pictures of me with my natural hair colour as soon after I had the photo shoot I dyed maid pink for the first time.

Day 14 of the blog everyday in June challenge.

My first summer essential is sun cream as I am fair skinned I burn really easy so sun cream is a must or else I'll look like a cooked lobster.

The second essential is sun glasses is to protect my eyes plus they look great on.

The third essential for the summer is a swimming costume either for at the beach or the local pool to cool down swimwear is a summer must have.

Another summer must have is a pair of sandals for those hot sunny days.
A pair of sandal where given to me as a present so don't know where she bought them from but they are extremely comfortable.

Make up must haves

As you can tell I rarely wear make up on a day to day basis I like to feel that make up is for special occasion but I do have the odd bit that I like to wear more than others.

My first make up must have is Niva pearly shine lip balm I keep on me pretty much all the time for when my lip are a bits chapped or I want to add a little splash colour.

My second are up must have is Rimmel Matt foundation as it is one of the few foundation that I have found that covers the colour in my cheeks known as rosey cheek syndrome it cause by my hormones making my blood go to cheek giving me the appearance that I am blushing on the positive I've never needed to use blusher :D

My third make up must have is glitter lips they are always a show stopper great of the event or nights out when you want to impress and it's so easy to apply just put on the glue like lips gloss and dap lips with the glitter and presto amazing lips.

My forth make up must have is a show stopping red lipstick perfect for those retro looks or for a girls night out as  I like how the red draws people attention to my lips and give a sensual look.

My fifth and last make up must have is natural eyeshadow mainly because if I have had a heavy weekend  I like to wear a little foundation and some natural eyeshadow and it pretty much make me look human again even if I don't feel like it.

That's my make up must haves it's the third part of my June daily blog challenge.

Brighton

I went to Brighton for the first time since I was really small the other week with my family as my father was over from Australia.

We went to a little cafe on the beach called the bucket and spade I have to say the food was delious I had a  gourmet  burger with chips and it was so filling I couldn't finish it.

We then took a walk along the beach it was a lovely sunny day but a little windy not bad for a early spring day.
Shame it wasn't warmer the sea looked amazing but to cold for a swim.

After our stroll we had to go to choccywoccydoodah no trip to Brighton is complete with out it even though it was a little off the beaten track down a small side street.
I must have been the only person in the shop not drooling with the huge amount of chocolate that looked fantastic but as a unfortunate person whom is lacose intolerant I could taste all there loveliness but I can say every other member of my family thought there chocolate was wonderful. I did appreciate the wonderful decoration of their chocolate my fravourite was the fig cake in the window they looked so realistic it was amazing.

We had a great little trip to Brighton but there is so much to see unfortunately we run out of time and had to come home.

Club indulge's Valentine's Day masquerade

Last week end me and april went to club indulge which a club for plus size people and those who admire them.
It was our very first going and it was also their Valentine's Day masquerade the club according the map I used was in between St Paul and Bank station so when we arrived at St Paul's station I thought it would be a little bit of a walk to the club but to my surprise it was only two minutes away max and was so easy to find and most of all I didn't get lost which makes a change for me.

The lady who greeted us when we forgot there was both friendly and welcoming, we quickly got our wrist bands and we where given a lock each and every gentleman who arrive would recieved a key and if you found the key to your lock both would win a little prize, unfortunately I never did find out what the prize was as I never found the matching key. 😢

The music wasn't my usal type that I listen to personally but they play a good range of music and there where plenty of song I could get up and dance along to. Everyone I meet there where very welcoming and friendly even if did freak them out a little by have zombies on my dress lol.

Me and April with one of the many lovely ladies we met at the club.

One of the people who run club indulge he was so funning and welcoming plus he let me and April stroke his beard!

The only problem that I felt was either music was too loud and I found it very difficult to talk or even order my drinks, but other than it was a good night I met a few new people and had a wonderful time and would totally recommend club indulge for a good night out.
